The following was an impromptu exchange that took place in 1996 between philosophers Michael L. Martin (atheist) and John M. Frame (Christian) regarding an argument formulated by Martin that science, logic, and objective ethics presuppose the non-existence of God. Martin called this a Transcendental Argument for the Non-existence of God (TANG), which was effectively a caricature of the Transcendental Argument for the Existence of God (TAG).
